The interior is rustic, with log
and board walls and a beam ceiling, but the furnishings are clean and comfortable.
This level has a full bath (also rustic) and we provide towels and paper
products for your group size.
The lower level is completely finished to include a den, full bath (modern), bedroom with a queen size bed, and a utility room with washer and dryer. |

The open stairs lead to a sleeping loft, overlooking the living room.
The queen size bed is lower than usual, but then so is the ceiling if you
do not walk near the center of the space. We also furnish bed
linens.
With a closet, dresser, and nightstands, this is a great place to relax, read, and think about the next day's adventures. Just watch your head if you get up in the dark. |

The living room features an open beam ceiling, a TV with a VCR, and ample seating around the large stone fireplace. We try to provide enough firewood for guests, but some like to go outside and look for small dead limbs on our 6 acre property. They are easy to find and burn really good. We encourage this pioneer spirit and it helps keep the yard neat. |

The kitchen and dining area can be the center of family activity for
those who like to eat. We provide just about everything you will
need for food preparation except the food. Our well water is cold
and clear, though some prefer to bring bottled water for drinking.
A bedroom behind the kitchen has a double bed and a window A/C unit for really warm days. |

The outside is really great. A shaded swing or rocker is a good
way to pass the time, observe the forest, or keep an eye on the kids.
You may be lucky and see deer or other wildlife certain times of the year.
Your outside dogs will be happy and safe on the gated deck.
The porch faces the small lake and away from the neighbor cabins, so peace and quiet prevail. Privacy is yours to enjoy. |

Spring through Fall, be sure to bring food and charcoal for the grill.
Every meal can be a picnic for those who prefer to "eat out".
If hot tubs, cable TV, golf, theme parks, or outlet malls are on your vacation agenda, this will not be the place for you. However, if a quiet, peaceful, and relaxing get-a-way in the outdoors with family or friends is your destination, e-mail us for rates, availability, or just more info. |
